Documentation review · August 2026
Your nights, recorded. With nothing to log.
A screenless band that reads ten signals while you wear it and turns them into sleep, recovery and strain scores in a free app. No buttons to press, no workout to start, no membership to keep paying.
- Ten signals recorded around the clock
- Up to 14 days on one charge*
- No membership needed to read your own data
- Screenless — nothing to tap, nothing to dismiss
Goes to the manufacturer's store, where the band is sold directly rather than through retail. *Battery is the maker's published figure — see how we reviewed this.
Why it works
The whole point is that you forget it's there
Most trackers ask you to participate. This one asks you to put it on.
Nothing to log
No screen, no workout button, no notifications to dismiss. You wear it, and the app works the rest out from the signal itself.
A record without gaps
Up to 14 days per charge means fewer nights spent on a charger instead of your wrist — and the nights you skip are the ones you most wanted to see.
One payment, then nothing
You buy the band once. Hume states no membership is required to use it or to read your own raw data, which is not how most of this category is sold.
Built to stay on
Fabric strap, no display, no charging cradle to dock every night. The band is designed around being worn through sleep, which is when most of the signal happens.
What it measures
Ten signals, read continuously
Recorded while the band is on your wrist — not sampled when you remember to check.
- Heart rate
- Heart rate variability
- Blood oxygen (SpO₂)
- Respiratory rate
- Skin temperature
- Sleep stages
- Sleep efficiency
- Activity & movement
- Strain
- Recovery
Those are the substance of the product. On top of them the app calculates scores of its own and gives them names — Health Score, Heart Resilience, Biological Age, Pace of Aging, Longevity Index. Read those as a trend against your own baseline over weeks, which is the only thing they are good for: they come from a model Hume does not publish, and the names are product names rather than measurements.
It is a consumer wellness device, not a medical device. It records and reports signals. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent anything, it is not a substitute for a clinician, and nothing on this page is medical advice.

*The maker's published figure. The price is set by the seller, changes without notice and varies by region, so we do not quote a figure here — read it on the seller's own page before you buy.
Returns are handled by the seller, under the seller's own policy. We do not sell the band, do not process returns and do not set the terms. There is a published return window and it is stated on the seller's own page — read it there, before you order, along with who pays return shipping. Terms change without notice and vary by region.
Shipping is free above a minimum order value, with delivery published at roughly three to five business days. Sold directly by the maker rather than through retail.

The decision
Who it's for — and who should skip it
Buy it if
- You sleep badly and want to see the pattern instead of guessing at it
- You train, and the recovery read is what you actually want
- You want the long view of your own baseline, not today's number
- You would rather find out by wearing it than argue about it in advance
Skip it if
- You want a screen on your wrist and live workout metrics
- You want a device that tells you what to do about a reading
- You expect clinical-grade numbers — this is a wellness device
- You will not wear it consistently: gaps are what break the record
Questions
The ones worth asking first
Does it need a monthly subscription?
No. Hume states the band and your own raw data are usable without a membership.
How long does the battery really last?
Hume publishes up to 14 days per charge. That is the maker's figure — this is a documentation review, so we did not run it down ourselves.
How long until the data means anything?
The first weeks build your baseline. A device like this is read as a direction across weeks, never as a single day's number — so give it that long before you judge what it is telling you.
Will it work with my phone?
It pairs with a free app. Check the current device and operating-system requirements on the maker's own page before buying.
Where do I buy it, and can I send it back?
It is sold directly by the maker rather than through retail. Returns are handled by the seller under the seller's own published policy — read the current window, the conditions and who pays return shipping on their page before you order.
Affiliate link — we may earn a commission on a purchase made there, at no extra cost to you.
How we reviewed this
What this is, and what it isn't
Notes and Tests is written by M. Cataneo and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Hume Health. This is a documentation review rather than a wear test: every specification, price, shipping and return term above was read from the manufacturer's own published pages in August 2026. Nothing here is a measurement we took ourselves.
Prices and terms change without notice and vary by region, so confirm the current figure with the seller before you buy. Found something out of date? Send a source to verdictnotes@gmail.com and it gets fixed or removed — corrections take priority over everything else here.
